Position Description

The reliability mechanic position will consist of the disassembly of ESP components for engineering and customer witness dismantles. In addition to the disassembly, the position involves preparation and cleanup of the equipment and disassembly area.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Disassembly of the ESP pumps, motors, seals, gas separators and sensors
  • Minor electrical testing and troubleshooting
  • Pressure testing motors and seals
  • Take component measurements, such as shaft extensions
  • Stage and setup equipment
  • Clean and organize the disassembly area
  • Operate forklift as needed
  • Maintain all required paperwork and internal training/certifications
  • Abide by all HSE and company policies and procedures
  • Maintain neat appearance (shop uniform/coveralls)
  • Other duties, as requested

     

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • ESP Mechanic experience preferred
  • Overtime/After hours work
  • Must be able to work well within a team

     

    Working Conditions:

    The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and toxic or caustic chemicals. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials or voltages.  Frequently lifts, carries or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Overtime and weekend work required as needed.
