Under general supervision with the Halliburton Digital Solutions organization, the IoT Development Lead and Architect will deliver integration solutions which support tools in the field communicating and its data visualized in real-time.  By working closely with subject matter experts within the organization, this role will be responsible for connecting devices and creating efficient and scalable workflows which transform the data into integrated data sets for analytics and visualization. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Product Managers to understand the business and create a technical solution to the business problem.   
  • Identifying and communicating the technical software requirements to the team
  • Designing and executing on the IoT solution, downhole tools communicating in real time and visualizing data
  • Creating and maintaining solution documentation
  • Work within project constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/product teams accordingly

     

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in computer science, engineering or math with at least 10 years of experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with IoT or machine to machine
  • Exposure to SCADA and field equipment and tools
  • Experience with IoT protocols and frameworks
  • Experience with MQTT, internet security, cloud, data transformation, RTUs, PLCs, and historians
  • Programming experience with JavaScript, Node.JS, Angular
  • Experience with Hadoop deployment configurations and connecting applications to access HDFS, HBASE and HIVE.

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in upstream Oil and Gas industry.
