Program Analyst (Facility Review, Power Operations), GS-0343-13 (PMB-MPP)

Reclamation is seeking an applicant looking for an opportunity to capitalize on his/her expertise in power plant operations to serve as a Power Operations Specialist and Facility Review Analyst. Responsibilities include creating policies and procedures for Reclamation's power programs; and coordinating, monitoring, reviewing, and reporting of power operations activities with Reclamation jurisdiction.

The salary range is $94,890 to $124,358.

Requirements

Requirements for this position are 1 year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-12 level in Federal service.

DEFINITION OF SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: To meet specialized experience, your resume must have at least 1 year of GS-12 or equivalent specialized experience as follows:

Experience as a journey level powerplant operator at a hydroelectric generating or commercial power producing facility; 

OR

Experience interpreting operational compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements;

AND

Experience coordinating multiple power operations, program functions, and serving as technical point of contact and team leader for programs such as the Hazardous Energy Control Program, Reclamation FIST manual development and revision and/or standing operating procedures.
