Onshore position within the Mobile Equipment group with ADHOC offshore as required

 

Under general supervision, maintain electronic instrumentation to provide reliable well maintained equipment to insure service quality. Promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness, and comply with all applicable safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Maintain electronic instrumentation to provide reliable well maintained equipment to ensure service quality. Develop the skills necessary to perform routine and preventative maintenance of electronic and electro-mechanical equipment. Perform basic operations using test equipment and industrial controllers required to test and calibrate equipment. Interpret electronic and mechanical drawings with guidance to assist in equipment repair. Performs own work and provides assistance to others as directed. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined. Skills are typically acquired through completion of an Associate degree or 2 year vocational training in electronic technology or equivalent. Must possess a valid driver's license.

 

Responsibilities and Required Skills

Technically minded and able to work on their own and as part of a team to ensure task are being performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner on time and in budget

Comply with all applicable safety, environmental procedures and regulations

Promote safety awareness and environmental consciousness

Perform routine preventive maintenance on all Halliburton equipment

Perform unscheduled breakdown maintenance on all Halliburton equipment including fault finding, diagnosing and rectifying mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic control systems

Documenting and maintaining records of all work and activities

Interpret assembly & Schematic drawings

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Able to plan, prioritize and manage workloads effectively

 

Maintenance for the following Halliburton PSL’s

Coil Tubing, Cementing and Nitrogen

 

Working with

Electrical/Electronic

Data Acquisition Systems –RS232, RS422, Profibus, Ethernet

PLC Systems

Engine Transmission diagnostic software – Caterpillar, Allison, Detroit

12/24vdc Electronic equipment - pressure, flow, density, level measurement

110/220vac single phase – Lighting, power, control circuits

440vac three phase – Motors, starter panels, Direct On Line, Start Delta, Soft Start

Hazardous area Equipment

Flame proof - EExd

Increased Safety - EExe

Pressurized - EExp

Intrinsically safe – Eexi

 

Repair and Recalibration of Mechanical Instrumentation

15/20,000psi Gauges

Required Skills

Interpret assembly & Schematic drawings

Carry out Installation, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment

Diagnoses and Fault rectification

Electrical Inspection and testing on wiring systems

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Can work both individually or as part of a team

Able to plan, prioritize and manage workloads effectively

Comply with all applicable safety, environmental procedures and regulations

 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

Danish Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship – (Equivalent SVQ Level 3 Electrical)

Must be computer literate

 

Preferable but not essential – Training will be given

HNC Electrical/Electronic Engineering

17th Edition regulations

Offshore Experience

Compex EX01 to EX04

Offshore Survival

Offshore Medical
